Welcome to the Tom Penders Basketball Camp

Welcome to another exciting summer with the University of Houston Men ’s Basketball program. Our focus is to provide an exhilarating experience that will compliment our passion for the game. In our efforts, we have expanded to include four sessions consisting of three day camps and one overnight camp. All sessions are held in the state of the art Athletics Center and in Hofheinz Pavilion, where the men’s basketball teams host their home games. The daily schedule has been designed with intensive drills and complex routines to increase each player’s ability to reach their maximum potential.

Over the years, our staff has helped players to get to the next level of competitiveness. Our staff is equipped to motivate through their teachings and understand the needs of today's athlete based on their personal experiences. Our staff includes a broad range of AAU, High School and Junior college coaches from around the nation that will stress shooting, passing, defense, conditioning and togetherness, while exposing campers to a sensible nutrition for athletes. In addition, campers will gain knowledge through the college recruiting seminars to touch upon NCAA compliance guidelines.

Through games, contests, and individual instruction, and guest speakers, along with current team members and more, we strive to hold the best camp in the nation. The year’s summer camp will be our best ever and we hope that you join us in all the fun. Sign up early to reserve your spot
